On Sunday 21st July at 7.30pm, we are delighted to welcome Julie Foster, CAMRA Cider Representative for the East Midlands, who will be presenting us with our certificate as the East Midlands Regional Perry & Cider Pub of the Year. The presentation will take place at 7.30pm, immediately before our regular monthly quiz. Everyone is warmly invited to attend this special occasion and, of course, to stay and take part in the quiz afterwards. We look forward to celebrating this fantastic achievement with you all!

We will be open for ALL of England's World Cup 2026 Matches. We have been granted extensions to our usual licensing hours so will be able to show all of England's matches - whichever route they take to the final and bring the trophy home!

We’re delighted to learn that CAMRA judges have once again named The Red Lion at Kniveton as the East Midlands Regional Cider & Perry Pub of the Year for 2026.

This is an award we’re incredibly proud to receive — and one we’ve now held since 2023. Judging is based not only on the quality and range of our cider offering, but also on atmosphere, cleanliness and the welcome we give to everyone who walks through our doors.

There will soon be a presentation and photo opportunity at the pub, where we’ll proudly receive another certificate. We’ll confirm the date as soon as it’s been arranged.
